Adoption is an operating decision
For a commercial rider, a motorcycle is an income-generating asset. Purchase price matters, but so do daily operating costs, downtime, battery-swapping access, maintenance and the predictability of earnings.
The risk of focusing only on awareness
A rider may know about electric motorcycles and still be unwilling to switch. Concerns about charging or swapping infrastructure, battery life, resale value and service support may outweigh the appeal of lower running costs.
Where research can help
Compare current owners, interested non-owners and sceptical riders. Test total-cost-of-ownership assumptions against actual routes, working hours and downtime. Map service access and identify the guarantees or proof points that would make trial less risky.
