Bank of Uganda – public sector institutional perception and stakeholder research
Geographic scope: National – Uganda
Purpose: Assess public and institutional perceptions of the Bank of Uganda’s mandate, credibility, and performance, and inform strategic positioning and stakeholder engagement.
Methodology: Mixed-methods study combining nationally representative household surveys with Key Informant Interviews involving senior stakeholders from government, legislature, private sector, and multilateral institutions.
Role & output: Led research design and implementation, coordinated high-level KIIs, conducted analysis, and produced an evidence-based insights report to guide institutional strategy and communication.
War Child Canada & Mastercard Foundation – BRIDGE Project mid-term review
Geographic scope: 9 refugee-hosting districts in West Nile and South-Western Uganda
Purpose: Assess progress, effectiveness, and emerging outcomes of a youth livelihoods programme operating across refugee settlements and host communities.
Methodology: Mixed-methods evaluation including quantitative surveys, Focus Group Discussions, and Key Informant Interviews in both refugee settlements and host communities.
Role & output: Supported evaluation design, coordinated multi-district data collection, oversaw data processing and analysis, and contributed to actionable recommendations for programme adaptation.
UNICEF – behavioural and social insights for immunisation programming
Geographic scope: Kampala Metropolitan Area
Purpose: Generate actionable behavioural and social insights to inform tailored routine immunisation IEC materials for migrant communities.
Methodology: Participatory, insight-driven approach combining behavioural science, qualitative research, co-creation sessions, and iterative testing with diverse migrant populations.
Role & output: Led insight generation and analysis, translated findings into communication guidance, and supported development of field-tested IEC materials aimed at increasing trust, clarity, and demand for immunisation services.
FAO via Makerere University – food systems and nutrition evidence synthesis
Geographic scope: Nakasongola, Kiryandongo, and Kabale districts
Purpose: Develop evidence-informed Regional Food Systems-Based Dietary Guidelines aligned to local dietary patterns, nutritional needs, and food system capacities.
Methodology: Secondary data review and sub-national landscape analysis covering dietary practices, nutrition gaps, food availability, and contextual constraints.
Role & output: Served as Co-Investigator responsible for data processing and management, analytical synthesis, and contribution to technical report writing and guideline development.
SNV & GIZ via Madibah GmbH – improved forage grasses impact baseline
Geographic scope: Selected districts, Western Uganda
Purpose: Establish baseline conditions for assessing the impact of improved forage grass interventions on dairy farming practices and productivity.
Methodology: Quantitative baseline survey focusing on dairy feeding practices, forage adoption, and production systems.
Role & output: Acted as Survey Coordinator, overseeing field data collection, data processing, quality assurance, and contribution to baseline reporting.
UNICEF, WFP & UNHCR – multi-agency food security and nutrition assessment
Geographic scope: 14 districts across refugee-hosting and urban areas in Uganda
Purpose: Generate comprehensive food security and nutrition evidence to inform humanitarian response and programming across refugee and host community contexts.
Methodology: Large-scale quantitative survey supported by extensive field supervision, training, and multi-district coordination.
Role & output: Served as Co-Investigator responsible for data processing and management, enumerator training, field supervision, and contribution to analytical reporting.
